After tearing up the SAL with Savannah, Kevin Plawecki was promoted to St. Lucie and picked up right where he left off. Plawecki cracked a three-run homerun in his first at bat with St. Lucie.
Here’s the thing with Plawecki — he should have never started this season with Savannah. Plawecki should have started the season with St. Lucie and been up for a promotion to Binghamton by now. Offensively, he was ready for higher competition — defensively, he has some fine tuning to do, which could be the reason why the Mets are taking it slow with Plawecki.
