Noah Syndergaard Dominates In First Double-A Start

Thor

Syndergaard has affectionately come to be known as Thor by his teammates and Mets fans.

We got a sneak peek at what Noah Syndergaard is going to bring to the table for Binghamton on Sunday, and boy was it impressive. It won’t be long before this kid is pitching in Triple-A, and he could be ready to start helping the big league club sometime in 2014.

You have to love this kid’s approach on the mound. He likes to challenge hitters with his blazing fastball, and then once the hitters start getting a beat on it, he starts pulling the chain and mixing in his off-speed pitches. It won’t be long before the top three starters in the Mets rotation are Matt Harvey, Zack Wheeler, and Syndergaard.

The future is super bright in Queens with the notion that these three guys will be in the same starting rotation.

Syndergaard’s line from his Binghamton debut: 6.0 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 7 K
